IF is NOT HACKABLE!

 My friend claims his friends board has hacked through MySQL, and not cracked. I said this was impossible, but he said you can hack IF through PHPMyAdmin. He doesn't seem to understand you cannot hack IF, and I need people to post here saying that so I can show him this.

 Your Right If are no Hackable, they are very well protected.

Invisionfree boards can only get hack by guessing the password of the admin access. Not by anyother way

 IF also doesn't support access to the (My)SQL database. it also doens't suppor PHP, FTP, or access to the source files. So i think PhpMyAdmin is out of the question.

 It's a bit bold to say that, but if an experienced person knows how, they can do an SQL injection into the database so it will retrieve the admin's data or make it so that they are the admin for that board.

But, he could be talking about IPB forums in general?

No, He said IF. IF doesnt have direct access to MySQL. (I dont think)

 I'm not sure... but last I saw phpMyAdmin is a MySQL database manager... I don't see how you could use phpMyAdmin especially to hack IF but maybe I don't know...

edit: what I'm trying to say is phpMyAdmin isn't even a hacking tool in the first place as far as I know.

Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall.

 The reason I know that was false is the sql database issue. Duff once remarked how slow it would be to do anything to the database with how many boards it runs.

Nothings safe from nowhere. All you need is the right software, and right determination and youve got what you came for.

If the goverment wanted to, im sure they could hack IF at a click of a button, but whats IF to the goverment, nothing, so why would they bother?
