A blast from the past.

 Ok I dont know where to put this at.

Im getting annoyed at needing to clean my mouse out (and its hard as heck) is there any good cheap opitical mouses out there like $20 USD or less?

 LOL, I remember those old days!

I now have a IBM Laser Mouse

So i never have to worry about taking that ball out and cleaning the inside of the mouse

It only costed me about $5 at a yard sale :-) :lo: :yes:

 Check out office max they have them on sale sometimes. I got mine for 5.00 new with warranty! Its not fancy but its optical and no cleaning!

$19.99, very comfortable, accurate, stylish.. the color won't wear off any of the buttons like it did on my old Microsoft one, because they're rubberized.
You can get it with 5 buttons too, but I hate those, as they're always getting pushed accidentally.
There's really no reason for the average person to shell out the extra money for a wireless, but if you're going to be using it 8 hours a day or something, being able to switch to lefthanded without adjusting the cable is sort of nice.
And if your cable is too short for your layout, you can get a USB extension cable for a few bucks and still end up paying less than for a wireless, plus you never have to worry about paying for or running out of batteries.

Looks pretty good, I had a good Kensington one but I lost it, so now I have a nice Logitech Optical... :yes:

 optical mouses are amazing, but its rarely that they dont respond, im currently using a wireless wheel mouse, but im very suprised, because its very fast, the response is good, and its like a optical mouse, but i got my other optial mouse for £10 from argos in the uk. :D

Ah, sorry, my old one was actually Logitech, not Microsoft.. my mind automatically equates anything crap with Microsoft, and I wasn't terribly pleased with my Logitech one.
It worked fine for a long time, but I just wore it out, and this one is holding up way better.
Whatever kind you get, it's going to be an improvement.
Now, when I have to use somebody's old ball style mouse, it's like using a typewriter.. just feels weird and hard to use.
