My plan was to be sober for a long time but it didnt seem to work out. so now your sober longer than i am.

The Fake Staff Room are actual staff topics. The staff just purposefully only let us see the mostly nonsensical and spambased ones, while pulling away the important ones from our view.

In fact, back in April Fools', for a little while after the hoax started, some serious topics were still there, such as a private IFV.2 discussion. They disappeared quickly afterward; my guess is that the staff made a boo-boo and wanted to put it back into privacy ASAP.
