looking around for a bulletin board one day, looked at a few others (names witheld to stop any advertising ;)), and then found IPB.....was looking for hosting plan and then stumbled across IF via Google......since they hosted, and it was free, which is always the best price....I set up camp and been here since, Aug 03 I believe, just never joined the forum until last year |

An old IPB board i used to be a member at had a long period of downtime. One of the members there started an IF board way back in December 02 and emailed me asking to join. I joined here sometime after that, and the rest is history. |

I came over to IF with a few friends from RunBoards as we found IF easier to manage B) Then after our forum went bust we kinda went seperate ways back at Runboards and whatever but my heart will alwyas be with IF

Back in Jan-Feb, 2003 some guys at work wanted to start a squad in the game we were all playing, so I did a search for free forums. IF was one that came up. I liked the look of it, so I set up the squad forums. The squad has since moved on to a php-nuke site, but I came back a number of months ago to make my own forums about anything and everything and to tinker with the forums to see how I can change the looks of it. Which was interesting. Then I started coming to the support forums because mine were pretty dead (I never really advertised). lol I found I could be of help to a few people, and here I am.  |

I was at another forum provider (not IPB), and a porn spammer showed up. Eventually, we tried to lose him by quickly changing hosts, but it sorta didn't work. (Good thing we eventually got rid of him!) The host we ended up changing to? Invisionfree. |

I found IF after, I went with a board that was on proboards.com. I shortly afterward wanted to try to start my own community. It went down hill after a spammer hacked into one of the moderator accounts. He ruined the site, and yes I know who it was. Since, I have seen many site spring up around my little corner of the Star Trek world. I virtually started a Star Trek fan boards on IF. Those sites seemed to be a success, I am apart of at least four to five. I own a new site, now. It was a second board I created onginally as my personel test board. |

Well I found Duelist Underground and later on MUCH later on when i earned Admin there i finally found out IF had a support zone how strange is that XD I mean i was on an IF board for almost a year before i realized what IF was and how big it was... |

I was asking how to make your own board and such and this guy gave me about 10 differant sites that allow you to make your own forum so I made my own forum. |
