When the portal is added to your message board site, is it automatically set on so it's there when you go to you message board or do you have to have to turn it on from the Admin CP?

You will need to manually turn it on in the IPDynamic Lite Set-up section of your Admin CP (under System Settings).

Note that the option is not there currently as is is not ready yet.

I personally think it will become killed. Everyone will be sick of the portal when they visit someones board. I mean come on. Every board has one. It's a lot better if you have to install the portal yourself (though this would not be possible because it wouldn't be interlaced with the forum) would at least prevent a overpopulation of portals. I personally am not going to use the portal (I don't even have a board anymore). Just my opinions don't flame me >_<

Actually, if done right, portals can tell you a lot about the forum. I know I've turned away from several because I didn't care for the glimpes of the forum that the portal showed. In other cases, I entered forum to find out more about topics listed on the portal that peaked my interest. :rolleyes:
