I agree that it's one of the best free forum services. I tried many from before but nothing else beats Invisionfree. |

They are great. Granted, there's a few forum services out there that are riiight up there with IF-but they're lesser known ones. And even they don't have some of the services IF has. Proboards? Completely destroyed by IF. EZBoards? Sad as the hacking deal was, IF destroys em'. Heck..other than the full-blown VBulletin Boards and IPB Boards [and even some of those to a degree], Invisionfree pwns all. And soon as the upgrade hits, it'll only get better. |

Actually, our "version 1" is just IPBv1.3. =P But, Proboards is an entirely different forum software alltogether. And it [IMO] pwns phpBB, and to an extent..some EZBoards. Still, Invisionfree and a few other hosts wipes the floor with any other-and it's free ta b00+'. |

Yeah, proboards are better than ezboard, but invision beat em all by far. |

Ya mean Invisionfree? Yeah, definetely. The IPB software's just better than Proboards, and has a nicer feel to it.

i put sorta at this moment in time my loyalties lie with invisionfree. although... best mods are another forum which are also IPB 1.3 but they run slower than IF but theyre also moving to a new server i will not share this forum with anyone if you want it you can find it, but at this moment i recommend IF, this other one also gives free support if your MySQL gets messed up (i think) but its way too slow im not sure how fast their new server will be though, also its alot smaller community for the support forum, ALOT smaller, Brandon and Seth etc may know who im on about... anyways yeah invisionfree has about 12 servers? this host im on about only has two so yeah if they was faster i MIGHT use them but i would also use invisionfree because its alot more secure, the other host allows html template access and stuff aswell but no MySQL management through admin cp, you must post the admin there ill stick with invisionfree though, ive used both of them i used invisionfree then moved to them but after a fwe months idecided to use invisionfree, im mod on their support forum aswell :), since with my 1mb connection it dont run slow for me anymore (used to have 125k)*edit* no one PM me about this because i wil simple ignore your PM, im not advertising other support forums...... plus the other host doesnt have 2.0 coming out and i think 2.0 should beat the features they have

I prefer IPB and vB over InvisionFree personally, but IF is certainly the best free forum host. |
