Incorrect. We will not be updating to IPB v2.0, we will be updating to IF v2.0. Completely different. Made entirely by Brandon from scratch. |

Yep! YaBB are  Proboards forums suck, phpBB CSS is wierd, you can't make new usergroups (I think) and you can't give it the feel of what you've based it on. And on YaBB forums when I asked for help how to make it, I get guys yelling at me "You don't know anything about the web" and stuf like that  So yeah, this is the bet free forum hoster on the net! |

Hey a bit off-topic here, i probably won't get an answer but will InvisionFree be updating like proboards did? With one server offline for 24 hours at a time!? How quick will it be? |

Must be hard work to make something from scratch but IF isn't the best free forum service, lol, but I can't get away  There are others but I souldn't say  The initals of one other are **, thats as much as your going to get and don't even think about guessing, if you know then you know but we don't want to run IF out of bussiness |

Yeah, i voted invisionfree are the best but like some of the others said there are some hosts out there that are just as good, or catching up. Can't wait for IF 2.0 either, maybe when thats out we will be the best ever lol!

At the moment IF is not the best, I believe that Typhoon Omi also knows the host that I am thinking of right now, there are some better ones with support just as good, when IF 2 comes out feature and speed wise it should be about the same unless they decide to upgrade too. Dont PM me or Typhoon Omi about this host as I will ignore it and I dont want anyone annoying TO about it. |

IF is the fastest loadin free host that I am aware of. I don't think anything could be as good as IF unless it had FTP and/or MySql acess. |

Das Ein, yes it is. Right now, Invisionfree is basically IPBv1.3 modified. And yup, I know of this host too. In fact, there are..four good forum hosts total on the net-Invisionfree being 3rd in meh opinion [though the upgrade could change that.] I won't tell anyone of the other hosts, since two are more for private hosting [though one offers mySQL/FTP 100%], and the other one [the one Super Goku speaks of], while good, is having a looooooooottttt of problems on one of their newer servers. :ph34r: Still, Invisionfree is pretty good, and has the best support forums on t3h 3@r+h. =P And Super Goku, C* [I asterisked the second initial for that specifeec' host] is gonna upgrade, to their own forum software. |

Right now IF is not the best. Remember there will always someone better. I think of us as one of the more unique hosts, who else has domain managers, support tickets for free forums? Brandon has added and continues to add many things to make IF a different kind of board host. So the best free forums? no. The most unique? Possibly. |
