There is simply no substitute out there for a heaping helping of IF.  It's free, easy to understand, and the Support Services here are superb. You simply couldn't ask for more without being charged. Well done, IF, keep up the good work.

IF is the best free stuff there is. That's that. Proboards have poor skins and look hideous (I've never seen a proboards board with actual grads), vBulletin is very hard to navigate and adjust to at first, and phpBB is not as easy to modify and skin as IF is (on phpBB, they classify modifications by "installation difficulty"). IF is the best free software so far and blows all the competition out of the water. |

I voted for you're crazy. No way is it the best, phpBB has 35% of problems fixed, unlike IF and vB. But I thnk Invision Power Services is the best. I have 2.0.4.

more problems fixed then vB? Try and use anything to hack a vB forum and you'll be there for awhile.  phpBB insn't no were near as advanced as IPB aswell :/ |

You don't If you werent among the first lucky few to get the original download and you have the unlimited trial you could have your board shutdown with no abillity to obtain your database. Problem with IPB,PHPBB,VB, IPS is that thier support service is slow and even the payed support is crappy and not up to speed. Even my free service doesnt compare and I'd really like to say I was better but I can't Invisionfree kicks my butt lol. |

Indeed it does I am an IPS customer and from first hand knowledge IF is faster and more reliable at support paid or not. { G-d my spelling is horrible} |

In my opinion, InvisionFree is the best out there. I've gotten reccomendations for other places like MyBB and PhpBB, but they are so confusing. Especially for someone like me, who knows NOTHING about how to make a board. With InvisionFree, it was a one step process to register, no getting redirected to other sites or anything, and then there were instructions to help me all though. |

IPB and phpBB are paid for.  I have nothing against you saying they're better but this is about FREE forum hosts, so can people please keep paid hosts out of this otherwise your arguements are pretty much rendered pointless since the question is about FREE forum hosts. o_O
