 no, i played it once though. the game is slow, looks terrible, is overpopulated, and you have to go through a long tutorial (it is somewhat helpful tho...) to access the regular game. i think it is a waste of my time, like all rpg's. now if you excuse me, im gonna play some CS:S

i can already hear the flaming coming.....

 no runescape is only fun when ur a noob cuz u have stuff to look forward to doing. when ur strong its boring cuz u have nothing to do and then you eventually quit cuz it bores the hell outta you.

lol, my 8 year old younger brother started playing this game and i was like "WTF, your a nerd" (Not really though, he thinks hes hard for an 8 year old) It was funny, he kept playing it straight for like a week, and then stopped.. Then i made an account LOL, and for like 2 days played it, but i was like "Wtf, i dont know where to go" and just quited the god damn game.

Sorry, but that's just dumb :)

Anyone who quits a game cos they're still lost after 2 days is just too impatient. It's a big ole game, no doubt about it. And you'd hardly expect to know your way around every Halo 2 map in a couple of days, would you?

Seems like you're just one of the people who hates RS cos lots of people say it's bad; you've never tried it, (no, 2 days isn't trying something) but you're happy to go along and beat it up with no grounding :)

It's not too bad a game, I mean, there's lots of work gone into it, and it has plenty of things to do...they're just all point-click-point-click...

Runescape is boring. There is no skill at all. You just click and watch. Even though I still have a level 70 account and a level 57 account that got hacked. Now I have runescape blocked. Do you realize that xbox live costs less than runescape special elite membership? I used to be 24/7 addicted. It was fun at the time but now jagex is stupid.

BTW, most the people who are insulting runescape are obviously not good at the game or just played for a few hours or a few days... thats basically what the people say who are not good at the game. Well thats how I felt at low levels too. You start enjoying the game after you are like level 70 or 80 and at that level and become a member, most of the people start to not care about the game's graphics. Even I would admit that the free game is pretty boring but members is what makes it fun. And as for the people talking crap about the graphics, I would like to remind them that Runescape is the most advanced Java game in terms of both game play and graphics. Its extremely hard to code games in Java thus not that good graphics. And even if it was so bad, why are there some 500, 000 active players (players who play the game very often)?

better out there? or perhaps that realize what makes the game fun that the Removed in this forums can't figure out yet. And what whatever game you are talking about, again I would like to remind you being a high level and being member is what makes the game fun to play while free game isn't much fun. And we should care, why?
If that's the case, considering how bad Runescape sucks in both gameplay AND graphics, perhaps that just means that Java is not an acceptable platform/language/whatever for gaming.

Gameplay wise? Buddy tell me what level you are in runescape or how long did you play the game for. If you played for a weeks or a month or two or are a low level, its no surprise you think of it that way. and like I said, the 500, 000 active players don't seem to give a crap about graphics like you guys are. Oh yeah 500, 000 is the minimum amount of active players. The real number could be as high as 800, 000 or even a million.

I have to ask the same question to you like I did to this last dude. What level are you and how long did you play the game for? And as for Java, I was just stating the fact because the people of this forums didn't knew much about the game itself and just went to talking crap about it. I don't know why Jagex made the game in Java.. maybe they are more advanced in Java i guess.
