Firefox Vs IE?

 i have firefox bt when i tryed my mates IE, i thought there was no difference, why does Firefox beat IE so much?

 There's a lot to it. Firefox is just an all-around better browser in security, functionality, etc. I could go into the techs and my other opinions-but I don't wanna get into an arguement with an Avant lover. :t3h crying:

 I use both, Firefox for games online but IE for everything else as I find Firefox to be to 80's looking for me, it might be faster but its damn ugly.

i use FF, and to keep it simple i'll just say what the FF site says.
-Safer
-Faster
-Better

oh and it's not microsoft, wich is always a good thing

 FireFox has many features that IE doesn' have such as Ad Blocker and EggTimer, lol, some pointless but still nice and yes its also safer and you can multi-task with just one browser window open :o

Upgrade to FireFox today, its the best move you'll ever make :yes:

So many features, never need to use IE again....well....I never did XD

And IE6 (SP2) does have an ad-blocker included. And you can download extensions for IE in the same way you can for FF. (WebPage Spy, IE7CSS etc..)

Just noticed the last FireFox patch had 3 "critical" security updates in... *sigh*

Well silly me, I never pay attention to IE.

Last time I saw it used witch was when my brother used the PC, it opened so many pop-ups, gah, its a spyware host <.<

Heh. It seems my plan to make Avant a sucky browser to the fellow members of IF was successful. As a result of my "Avant" thread, many more people are using Firefox and less using Avant and IE, thus browsing more secure. :) </offtopic>
