What exactly is the Back-up system at IF?

 We certainly appreciate the publicity. Hopefully you and any other ex-EZ boarders like what you see enough to give us a try.

As for the open support ticket. We receive several hundred a day and most get answered within the first 12 hours. 48 hours is normally the longest you'll have to wait for an initial answer. That being said, since it's the summer months, those times may be a bit longer due to staff vacations etc.

Another contributing factor is the type of question. Questions that need an administrators answer can take slightly longer as well.

Also, in the future, if you're looking for a quick answer, our recommendation is usually to try the support forums. The wait times there are usually measured in minutes and not hours.

 Erm i hate to be a pest but with regards to the FAQ InvisionFree have posted it is not entirely correct. Backups are not always free, i was an administrator of a large forum with 1,300+ members and 100,000+ posts and was requested to pay;

In most cases I would expect the cost to be $20-$75.

 That is a conversion that we did for you, taking the database of what we had for your board, and converting it for IPB 1.3.

The backups we do for all boards on InvisionFree are free. We try to get many restorals to be free too, but many times it depends on the situation and exactly what was lost.
