My forum experiece was much the opposite of yours: IF was the first free provider I tried, but I took its services for granted since I didn't know anything else besides it. When my curiosity led me elsewhere, I started thanking the Lord that I got here first. I completely agree that IF is reliable, customizable, and user-friendly, so I hope you learn to love it as much as I do.

I just noticed my board has a portal lol, honestly how cool is that? Ya know yesterday there was a little problem with server 7, which I'm on...but I actually didn't know it was slower than normal until I read about it here. I was so used to unbearable slowness on the 'other' host that IF's version of "slow" is actually pretty fast compaired to what I'm used to dealing with rotfl BTM- this is one of the coolest smilies I've ever seen = Is it free to use if I host it on my own server space or does it belong to someone already?

Most smileys are free to use as they came from packs downloadable on resource sites. One to name is Invisionize (an IPB resource forum). That specific smiley for a staff member Jay, came from that resource site mentioned above (google it), so you should be able to use it freely. Some staff smileys were custom made, so therefore would need permission before using them.

Like I tried adding a smiley but forgot to add the archor text and it said something like "You have to add text silly!!" Rotflmao, very cute...I hope there are more like that

IF rules! (which also happens to be my bands initials hehe :P)
