Just arrived from some 'other' board host....; *cough* ezboard *cough*

 I also moved here from the 'other' place and couldn't be happier with my choice!!! I was hit pretty hard over there and lost 3 years of post :( However, things happen for a reason, and the reason must've been to find this excellent service provider. I am slowly figuring out the skins and love all the admin features and my mod staff are overwhelmed with all their new powers :lol: I have a couple questions for whomever can answer.....

1. How often are backups done with IF, and are the backups kept seperate from the active servers? This question is the result of what happened to us over there ;)

2. I know there are programs available so that admins can backup their own boards.... do any of you other admins use any, and if so what do you suggest?

Brandon, thanks for providing such an awesome message board service here! Your coding abilities are just awe inspiring :luna:

1. Wrong. Backups are done either in realtime or every night, depending on who you ask.

2. It depends on how Brandon's feeling. I.e, ebul or not. XD

1. Back-ups are made in real time.

2. Admins can't backup there forums. There is no Feature because after a week the back up would be just junk on your computer.
