VB is one of the best coding programs you can use. Not neccessarily the easiest to use (as you would have to have a previous knowledge of VB scripting before you can use that program to it's full extent) I use notepad if it's light modification, but if I'm going to tackle a PHP code, I would use AceHTMLPro 3 as it has the line #'s on the side which makes PHP script debugging much less of a chore.

Yep, VB.NET, Visual C# .NET, Visual studio.NET, all pretty big IDEs But they do include a lot of functionality in them- visual editor for designing dialogs, debugger, compiler, documentation... So it will take up a huge amount of space, however you shouldn't have to use anything else. Unless you're coding for the .NET framework, then it's an extra 20MB or so on top of that :ph34r:

Seriously every ASP powered site i've been to runs so slowly, i've yet to visit one that runs at a half-decent speed AFAIK it's Microsoft's web language, correct? It wouldn't surprise me <_<
