 Eh. I've had a full version of IPB (cousin paid it for me way-back when..=P), and it might have more features total..but I just don't like IPB. To me, IF's better, not just because of the god-blessed simpler ACP Menu (Not saying IPB's hard, just...well..IF=t3h b3tt3r on that.), but because IF's Support Board is much more interactive/helpful that IPB's, and because IF does it for free. Gives everyone a chance to make somethin great..

..And..I don't know WHY, but I just like IF's forum-layout (even though it's barely different in many ways..) better. So eh. IF>IPB.

 I moved to IPB 2.0 (business purposes, sorry duffeh), and I have to say it's not all that hard.

The sknning system is well layed out I think. I managed to convert my Soft Blue skin for IF to it in a half hour.

It may come as a shock, but I don't find things like MySQL and PHP all that taxing.
