I do, but I don't believe in the "aliens" everybody talks about.. Like this one :alien: It's just absurd they would look that way, all that is is just bull.. Also, beeing visited by them.. Crap IMO.. Even if they are technologically thousands of years further then us, it would still be incredibly hard to be found. |

Well because of Nevada because it's open, full of deserts (Aliens love open spaces) and because Nevada is pimp  Well I don't belive in Aliens or UFO's because I think UFO's are just Frisbees thrown too high  And Aliens are just you know--not real. |

*contemplates the notion of aliens* To put simply, yes... ...I believe aliens exist. Rather or not they'd be anything like life on this planet... I highly doubt it. If life evolves in one place, theoretically it would evolve to best suit that place. Therefore, if life has evolved elsewhere, I'm not even sure if we'd recognize it as life with one glance. What is to say that life can't exist under different circumstances then the ones on Earth? In truth there are many ways to solve a problem, so there should theoretically be many ways for life to evolve. |

Right, but in the vastness of the universe, I doubt Earth is unique. In our local ghetto, maybe, but there are almost certainly Earth-like planets out there, possibly relatively close by, where life would stand a decent chance of evolving parallel to that on Earth, so I don't find human-like aliens too unbelievable. Plus, who's to say they're not simply projecting that typical alien image into our minds via telepathy or hypnosis of some sort and actually appear completely different? I don't believe everything you hear about them, but it's fairly clear that people have been seeing UFO's for thousands of years. And any creatures thousands or tens of thousands of years ahead of us technologically would likely have somewhat better ways of finding us or anything else than we have of finding things.  But even if they haven't been visiting us, they're definitely out there somewhere. The odds of humans being the only intelligent life to evolve would be small beyond comprehension. |

In a universe that is infinate in size, that contains an infinate number of star systems that contain an infinate number of planets that have the necessary requirements for life to not only exist, but evolve, there has to be alien life elsewhere. So, yes, I believe without doubt that there is life elsewhere in the universe. It might not be life as we think of it. A lot of experts are speculating that life elsewhere could be silicone based, rather than carbon based. And with that in mind, life could exist in places where we might not recognise it even if we saw it. Do I believe that aliens have visited earth? That I'm not so certain about. If you publish accounts about something you allegedly witnessed to a global audience, whether it really happened or not, you can bet somewhere else in the world, after reading it, someone else will have allegedly experienced the same thing. |

:blink: I think most theories these days account for a universe that is finite in size.  That's why the universe is expanding . . . infinite universes don't expand.But yes, they are out there.

The only people that don’t believe in life on other planets just don’t have any imagination. We can’t be the only life forms, I don’t even think were anything special, where just like monkeys to the aliens. We need to stop all wars and crap and just spend more money on space travel as 99% of people are really interested in that. |
