It's not breaking the law if they got permission. Besides, you don't see police knocking on every door in the US just because they MAY have an illegal satellite.

Do you really expect any one to go and ask their parents if they can join a board? :eh:

Exactly. Which is why we have the COPPA system in place. If you do not have it enabled on your board, then your members that are younger than 13 do not have permission and must be removed.

Well, rules are rules I guess, but I find it shockingly naive of one to think that a prepebuscent kid is going to click the "Born before 1992" link just because if he doesn't, he's "technically" breaking the law.

I think its obvious to say that no one is going to get Prosecuted by the Government for it. However, As Miss Mendil said, It is also against the InvisionFree ToS, Which is more likely to get you in trouble.

Most people under 13 usually are caught. Because even though they are probably smart enough to lie about the simple question that asks them when they were born, once they are registered, they sometimes put in their real birthday, or admit to their age. I have seen that happen a lot of times on this board.

Legally. Well, my grandpa said 18 year old people and 19 year-old people are still teens :arr:
