Neo, and the others from the matrix got off pretty easy if you ask me, The machines treated them much better than how we treat animals. I strongly think that battery farming is wrong and unnecessary. to lock an animal up with small amounts off cheap, rubbish food is so wrong. These chickens will never Dig for worms, play, establish social orders, have dirt baths like normal chickens, They can't even walk! I have seen, first hand how intelligent chickens are, how sneaky, crafty and smart they can be, We used to have 5 chickens, and we had a constant supply of eggs, Green eggs, Blue eggs, Orange and white eggs. Every one of our chickens were in a pecking order, each one with a completely different personality. They put them selves to bed, they ran in our house when we were gone and ate all the cat food. There not dumb! So when I see a small shed full of a thousand chickens who will never even spread there wings, who will get a barrage of poo on there heads, who don't even have enoth room to walk. I would love it if you and your family would only eat free range eggs, and if you have the room get your own little coop of chickens, for about 7 pounds each you can buy a baby battery farm chicken, give it a good happy home and get a constant supply of free eggs. Thanks for reading ![]() The Chickens should look more like this: The chickens above are Ex battery farm Chickens, They would be exactly like the chickens below if they lived the same lifestyle as the ones below Its doubly important now that we look after chickens in a humane way, or Bird Flue could be much worse! |

My friend has chickens. They are in an 8x8x8 coop, and he let's them out. One or two got eaten by a bear. The other one he ate. And the rest give him eggs. Good tastin (both the chickens and eggs). Mmmm, taste like chicken. I rather eat the chickens for food than raise them, deer for that matter too.

Chicken salad good! However, I didn't quite understand when you wanted the chickens to have free range but yet you'll eat them. Ah, nevermind. |

Thanks Deat B) Of course you can eat free range chickens! Free Range chickens can run around, and live, where as battery chickens spend there 12 month life stuck in a tiny cage being pecked and pooped on, without the ability to move much. Look at the pics at the top. maybe also read what I have written  |

I am against the current treament of most chickens in the U.S: I believe that non-human animals d not have nearly enough rights. Also, you guys seem pretty light for a topic this serious. |

Now tell me what rights do you want them to have? The right to remain silent? I mean I go hunting for deer, and hunters do give the animals a fair chance. Most people stereotype this type of thing but most of them are not hunters so they wouldn't know. |
