I mean, I liked it when it came out, but it was over-played. Way too over-played... But my favorite song on American Idiot is St. Jimmy Yeah...that song was over-played. I hate when places over-play a good song until you just get sick of it. I can think of many songs like that...like In The End by Linkin Park... But probally one of my favourite songs by Green Day is Minority...

If you notice, at the end, Billie Joe puts on a cape and starts to run around, Mike throws a hand at him to trip him, the hand is holding a peace sign, and when te hand hits Billie Joe, the pointer finger gets knocked off at it flips you off, it's funny!

Saying "Don't wanna be in a nation controlled by the media" while millions of fans mindlessly scream their heads off, wearing Green Day T-Shirts, hats, boxers, and drinking from official Green Day soda bottles, while the show is broadcast all over one of the largest and most influential countries on planet Earth to yet even more mindless, screaming fans that blindly follow the band... gasp ...seems a little wierd to me. Get the irony?
