I, uh..don't see how I can make it any clearer. They have good music, but all I'm saying is that they are somewhat hypocritical because they "hate the media" when they are everywhere in the media--magazines, radio, TV, etc., and they use it to their advantage. Are you feeling okay? You seem a bit...off.

I'm fine. ![]() What you just said isn't even close to the same as what you said in your two previous posts. That post actually has some logic to it, though I would disagree, because the song has nothing to do with anything you've said so far. It's clearly addressing a specific aspect of the media, and American society, so assuming they're completely against all forms and uses of the media is absurd. So, they're not actually being hypocritical at all. You just don't seem to understand their point.

I don't know what you mean. Just because they are in the media, doesn't mean they have to like it... They talk against the media, and that gets them IN the media... To me, they ARE just a bunch of nobodys from the Bay area, and that makes them cool in my eyes. I've liked them for almost eight years, and I have evry single album. Seriously though, people listen to things from American Idiot, and they say 'Oh, they suck!" Well, if you'd stop to listen to their good stuff, like 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, Kerplunk, and Dookie, or well, basically anything before A.I. then you'd realize they were ACTUALLY good at one time. And don't get me wrong, I think American Idiot is a great album, but their older music was way better... Oh well, I'll just anticipate their next album, and hopefully it'll make them less popular, I don't know, hopefully it'll suck, then I'll like it more... Get them out of the media again. When Shenanigans came out, I never heard about it in the media. Unless your a major Green Day fan, I doubt any of you ever know they had an album called Shenanigans.. Oh well, I've wasted enough of you time... Good Bye Have A Green Day ![]() ~*Ame |
