Honestly, if you have a feeling these adds are not visible when embedded into the forum skin (I think you are wrong), yes, IMHO bring them as they used to be. Ads on the bottom are annoying, people feels abused while being tricked to click on them by mistake. If ads will be relevant to people's interests they will click them, no matter how big or ugly they are. Regards. |

How could they click them by mistake? At the top the My Controls link is just as close as the reply button. Plus an image button should be easier to not miss. IF you are worried about that we can add plenty of padding to the ads on your board if you would like. Big or ugly ads will bother users which is not the point. |

Well, I clicked on them by mistake alot today, at 1280x1024 this is only like 3 mm between menu and the add, well, look on what do people say, alot of them complains about the same thing. I don't know why do you think they are less visible...I see these bright blue descriptions on my forum perfectly. Anyway if it bothers you, and you don't believe me that making them relevant instead annoying will bring you alot more hits, why not make range of colours that are allowed? Regards. |

lol, its within dufmans favour for them to stick out really isnt it! the ads being near the bottom, i feel annoying, but if it has to be it has to be, it doesnt dent invision being the best! also, does dufman actually own the whole of invision? or is he like a manager of somesort? what is ips.com to invision? |
