Are you sure you have a burner that fast. that was my problem twice >_<

I burn at 40x with no problems :rolleyes:

I have the cheapest burner ever ;)

Burn as slow as possible too. You may have to wait, but it could be worth it.

That is probably your problem. If it makes you fell better ubuntu burt through 4 of my Cd's.

No, what speed did you put it on the cd? 4x 8x 16x 32x 64x 128x ?

I use a 512x Burner with NO problems EVER!

 Windows 98 is years ahead of windows ME :P Im going to bed Ill report back after school tommower.(well today for me since its 1 30AM :X )
UPdate it work but most of the stuff that was on the CD I had already. is Ubuntu install differnt and its own OS?

 Yeah, I have it installed for about three months now, but I started using it only recently (since last Saturday). It's nice. ^_^

Installation of MySQL was a bit of a pain though. :ermm:

apt-get install mysql
