Yeah, but even better as I said in a previous post, hackers can also obtain the source code and find ways to hack into users' computers that use Firefox. Remember, as Firefox becomes more popular, it also becomes more popular to hackers too.  Avant isn't just "IE with a different name", people. It is an upgrade with even more provided features than the original, unprotected IE. By the way, can Firefox block Flash applications that have potential of containing malicious code? :geek: |

I call FUD. Now you're trying to play off nebulous warnings of impending doom. Funny how Firefox has been out for over two years, and there have been no "ways to hack into users' computers". I have an easier way to hack; it's called stealing people's passwords, and it doesnt' matter what browser they use :rolleyes: That's like saying that Netscape 8 is an upgrade to Firefox because it provides a Magic Password Manager Machine and a View in IE feature  the ENGINE is what matters!

Woot! I was hoping you'd do that. Is this W3C standards-compliant code? This? What about this? Answer: NO, none of these are correct JS! It's Microsoft's proprietary versions of stuff. Can you view my transparent PNG signature and see its transparency? No? How about the Acid2 test? Firefox 1.1 = full support; 1.0 = partial support Hm, how about the nice transparent tooltips on my blog? The complexspiral doesn't work. Nor does SVG. Oh what? No <canvas>? How about just plain old CSS? CSS Menus don't even work! Funny, we wouldn't need the IE7 hacks if IE rendered stuff right. Look at all the bugs it fixes. Dynamic selectors? Not a chance. Don't even get me started. NO ONE will claim that IE's engine is superior to Gecko. |

Yeah, but if you want to enable flash again, you have to open a menu of extensions, find "FlashBlock", right-click on it, click "Disable", and then you have to restart your browser all over again and losing your data (tabs, POSTDATA, etc.). I find that irritating and unreliable. If you want to turn Flash off again, you'll have to do all that over again. With Avant it's just "Click tools, then simply click Disable Flash Animations". Clean and simple. You can change it on the fly, don't have to download and install anything, and you DEFINITELY don't have to restart your browser for every time you turn the flash on or off.

No, that's wrong. If you want to show a Flash animation, you click on it. Done. EDIT: Who turns off flash anyways? Just adblock the flash advertisements and that way you'll keep the games and things

All 4 of those pages load perfectly in Opera without any problems, I'm telling you guys Opera is better then Avant, Maxthon, IE [By A Big Shot], and even FireFox.
Wow you can turn of Flash Animations :rolleyes: , well in Opera you can turn that off, GIF Animation, Sounds in webpages, Java, all plug-ins, cookies, proxy servers and JavaScript, you can also turn these features back on as well. |

I like Opera; it's standards-compliant  Firefox is a better fit for me though. But I would recommend either browser.

Because it's TEMPORARILY based on the dumbest Browser ever. I prefer KHTML more than Gekko or Opera or IE. KHTML supports standards-compliant. |

Funny, has it ever been based on anything else? :yawn: Temporarily eh. KHTML is not better than Gecko. Well, it is smaller. Too bad its rendering is sub-par (although still better than IE :rolleyes:) |
