 yeah and I think one of the cool things DuffMan did was to let the portals conform to the skin of the board they go with, this makes it easier for us. Thanks DuffMan!

 I personally think it will become killed. Everyone will be sick of the portal when they visit someones board. I mean come on. Every board has one. It's a lot better if you have to install the portal yourself (though this would not be possible because it wouldn't be interlaced with the forum) would at least prevent a overpopulation of portals. I personally am not going to use the portal (I don't even have a board anymore). Just my opinions don't flame me >_<

Your IF board and portal will have 2 different URL's
It will be your option to use the portal or not. It depends what URL you tell people and put in your signature. If you tell people your Board URL then you only go to the board, if you tell them the portal url then u get both! It is entirely ur choice. If you even want, you can go get a URL redirect at these services so you can be sure that people will go to the right site that you want.

Yes, of course you would edit it through the Admin CP. Where else would it be? :). But about getting to where you edit it, no one knows yet because the portal isnt finished. But when it is it will probably be called IP Dynamic Lite Settings or Portal.

hmmm....judging from all the excitement, I expected a little bit more :( ....personally, I don't see the point in a portal since it shows all the info you can see on a board anyway...its actually more tedious since all I'm interested in is the board....hopefully its optional...
