 I agree with you there, and I was gonna say, actually...And to RCEP2005 and crockerd: I know i'm not staff but I do know there's no point in you asking to get your posting rights back. The topic was there as a pinned topic. If you didn't read it it's your fault. And you were probably warned several times before you got put in the restricted support group. So there's no point pleading or saying you've learned a lesson, it's too late. You should have 'learned a lesson' when you were warned about it/knew about it from that pinned topic. You got several chances but it's too late now. If you couldn't be bothered to listen to whichever staff member warned you, or read that pinned topic properly, then that's your problem. |

Do you mean warned via PM? Perhaps you were warned through topics. And if that was the case then well you should have read :/ but if you were warned via PM or e-mail I doubt the staff would lie about it. I like to think I know most/some of them pretty well and I can say they are anything but liars. Besides a pinned topic is the biggest way of warning you...cept maybe a suspension  so if you failed to read it and understand it then there is only one person to blame for that and it's not the staff.  Are you guys desperate to get into support so you can ask questions or to give support? If it's the former well you have support tickets and they are equally, if not better, than support (since you don't get a bunch of crap posted, you get the direct answer). If it's the latter then what can I say...life goes on :/ I can't see any reason to be desperate to get back into support except to spam and raise the post count.  You've already been given an answer, why doesn't it satisfy you? :/ |

And I agree with what OcelotJay says ^ Either way, if you were warned or not, it's too late now. A pinned topic will get just as much attention as a warning in a post or PM, and surely you would know you're doing wrong, but that's too late now. In a way, you were already 'warned' by that pinned topic, like OcelotJay said. It's not the staff's job to be warning everyone who does wrong, unless they want to of course. |

You would have stopped? I seriously doubt that. Look at the pink thing in your sig. That was already there when I removed that pic again. Here you were told not to post requests in code snippets. Which made you start this topic in code snippets, which I answered. After that, you started a now trashed "apology" topic in code snippets for something that could've been handled via PM. You were told several times not to backseat moderate, by me as well. Several, meaning more than one, meaning you did it again after you were told not to do so.
That was directed at you as well. Though your posts lack questionmarks, you're definitely asking to get put back in the normal members group. It won't happen, you had your three strikes a long time ago |

well its not hard to mass e-mail the forum and say theres a new system on the go........so basically if i have a problem now i cant get help can i??? i agree with ocelot jay..because he just put it into a better context..unlike half of you ...so yeh i might aswell accept it.... annnnd that first topic isnt a request...its a friggin question......and i agree i put it in the wrong place but it isnt a request asking for anything..its a question and the pink thing has been in my sig for about 5 months i just cant be asked to take it away..alright:) |

if you ever had a forum or have and have pinned topics, you pin them for a reason. Most likely, you pin it because it is important and you expect your board members to read it/check it out. Is it that hard to apply the same theory/policy when you go to someone else's board as a member? Anyone who has pinned topics in their own boards shouldn't be complaining they didn't know about the new pinned topic. You should ALWAYS! look up there when you go into that forum. |

yes you should.......... well there you go........ i apoligise for helping.....and not reading the pinned topic......i cant be asked to argue because i got no one to back me up or no one to be on my side so i might as well accept it......and stefan if you think ive made a crappy topic can you just delete it..its getting annoying when you refer me to t topic wich is totally the opposite of what i was going to do...then i cant reply because its closed..thanks and..sorry |
