think about it! without all the anger towards IE, no one would have specifically recoded netscape to make a browser. hehe
Yeah, that might be.
We have to thank Micro$oft for putting out such crappy products, utilizing corrupt business practices, and all that stuff, otherwise we'd.. well, actually we'd probably have been better off without them still, because they've been an incredible force in stifling innovation and competition more than they've encouraged it.

Heh, typical. tubborn MS for you, everyone must upgrade to their latest OS (costs loads + needs a powerful PC just for the OS =  ) otherwise they don't get it. And for the IE users, they don't get the latest 'security updates', bugfixes etc.

That's part of their corrupt business practices.
Make it bigger and shinier and more resource-intensive, rather than making it better, or even fixing most of the problems to make it decent.
Seems fairly obvious to me that they're in league with the manufacturers to artificially increase consumption.
And again, I believe that they put many of the "bugs" in their products deliberately so they can come up with fixes later that require upgrading. :r

However, colored scrollbars are cool, and frankly, sites look like crap without them unless they have some generic and boring design that happens to match the generic and boring default scrollbar.
Those in charge of such stuff seriously need to address the issue.

And for the IE lovers who recognize the value of tabbed browsing and don't want to wait for Longhorn to come out in 2012 or whenever.. you can always use AvantBrowser or PhaseOut's pretty cool too.
Very shiny.

Eh?
No, it's been around.
It's just a mod thingy for IE like Avant is.
I think it's primarily aimed at businesses.
Very customizeable.
