 Some of you are missing the point.
There's a difference between a person who helps out in the support forums and a Support Volunteer(tm), just as there's a difference between a person who's new to a forum and a Noob(tm).
If you'd read what others have already said in this topic and the pinned Support Volunteer topic, you'd understand the distinction.

We don't hate Support Volunteers directly, it's just what they do that makes us mad. For example:

"Oh yes, I would like to know how to change my signature." - LOL1
"OGM DAT RNT POSSIBL RITE NOW LOL!!" - LOL2
"Simple. Just go to "My Controls", and go to Edit Signature. :)" - OtherLOL

I'm pretty sure that clears up what I think defines the Dark Side of the Support Volunteers.

 yeah there seems to be a difference in SVs there are three categories as it appears to me: 1. support Volunteers who help out JUST to get attention. 2. those support volunteers who no NOTHING about IF and gie bad support even though they think they are correct, and 3. those who volunteer just to help out. was i apart of the fad? yup, i can say i was. it was fun to be labeled such, but then all the number 1s and 2s, showed up and... well that killed it for me.

 I'm cracking up so hard, half the people who seen this and/or replied removed Support Volunteer from their Titles or Sigs, hehe..

I'll be the first to admit, I'm a "support volunteer" on the part that I do give support (well did before my desktop crashed yesterday which brought me back from college and finals to restore everything, but we'll save that for another topic), but I'm not a "support volunteer" on the part that i display it proudly and expect everyone to give me some sort of respect since I do.

I think this whole Support Volunteer and Anti Support Volunteer and Anti-Anti Support Volunteer madness should stop, and everyone should just do their jobs, volunteer your support (good support) and move on with life.

 There is a guy who has in his sig "post count goal" listed, he is striking off positions in there once he
reaches one of his "goals". He has a tittle IF Support Volunteer, or had...he made today like 100 or so
posts on Support section, but he seems to completly not read the question he is answering to. RaWr...
When he comes on Support section, I am usually going off to not break a few IF rules, including that
one about offensive or harmful posts...;}
